The Hydro-X system from TrolMaster is adept at managing a broad range of horticultural lighting systems readily available in the current marketplace. Numerous lighting manufacturers have incorporated a low-voltage control mechanism into their lighting systems. This control may appear in varied forms and adhere to different communication protocols. TrolMaster has created an array of lighting adapters (known as LMA units) that allow the Hydro-X to manipulate lighting using this low-voltage control option.
The lantern lighting regimen is a lighting protocol designed to stimulate plant growth during the vegetative phase. This lighting sequence involves a cycle of 12 hours with the lights on, followed by 5.5 hours of darkness, a 1-hour period with lights on, and another 5.5 hours of darkness. This 24-hour cycle is replicated throughout a plant's vegetative stage. The 1-hour light period amidst the dark hours restricts florigen production, thereby encouraging the plant to remain in a robust growth vegetative phase.
The LMA-24 lighting adapter is uniquely tailored to employ both channels on the Hydro-X system to formulate a lantern schedule control for any lights that adhere to the 0-10V protocol. It is compatible with HIDs such as Gavita/Nanolux/Luxx/Growers Choice/Illuminar/PL, and LEDs such as Fluence/Next light/Spectrum King.
