How It Works

Determine Eligibility and Trade-In Value

Verify that your NugSmasher press qualifies for the trade-in (note specific exclusions like X to XP swap, as well as Pro to IQ and vice versa).

Ship your old unit back within 30 days of your purchase to receive the reimbursement.

Full Program Requirements

For NugSmasher Brand Presses:

  • Most Nugsmasher models are eligible for trade-in, even discontinued models. Certain models like X to XP swap, as well as Pro to IQ and vice versa are not permitted.
  • Customers must arrange for shipping back on said unit within 30 days from the upgrade purchase. Failure to do so will instead result in a store credit for the 80% amount (instead of a refund on the payment card used).
  • Presses must be returned in good working condition with no excessive wear and tear.
  • Only one trade-in unit may be used in conjunction with the upgrade program.
  • Anything returned in substandard condition may receive a decreased amount in upgrade credit.
  • Presses must be sent back within 90 days of the upgraded purchase or they will be subject to store credit forfeiture.
  • If you are currently financing the press you are trading in, you have two options for upgrading: Option 1 - Send in your old unit before buying the new one to get a credit for your upgrade. Option 2 - If you buy the new Nugsmasher before sending in your old one, you'll get a store credit. Under no circumstance are we able to refund or directly pay your lender.

For Non-NugSmasher Brand Presses:

NugSmasher now offers a trade-in upgrade program for non-NugSmasher brands.

  • Values for trade-in credits are based on the Nugsmasher model you are upgrading to:
    • Mini = $80.00
    • OG = $150.00
    • XP = $200.00
    • Touch = $350.00
    • Pro = $400.00
    • IQ = $500.00
    • Pro Touch = $800.00
  • To receive the store credit, you must provide proof of receipt for disposal of your unit at a recycling or dump facility (remove any residue of rosin or they will not accept).
  • Additionally, a video submission to info@greenthumbdepot explaining why you're upgrading your machine to a NugSmasher. Please note that the video may be used by NugSmasher for advertising purposes.
  • Credit must be issued prior to the purchase and is not valid with other discounts.

Failure to return the trade-in unit within the specified 30-day window will result in a store credit for the 80% amount instead of reimbursement on the purchasing card.

For non-Nugsmasher brand presses, you are required to provide proof of receipt for disposal of your unit at a recycling or dump facility (ensure any rosin residue is removed) to receive store credit. Additionally, you must submit a video explaining why you're upgrading your machine to a Nugsmasher, which may be used by NugSmasher for advertising purposes.
