Available in 2, 3, 4, and 5 ft end kit increments, Gutter Trays fit existing Slide Bench lengths in 4 ft and 5 ft widths, making retrofits or new purchases simple.

The Botanicare Slide Bench is engineered for maximum strength and longevity. Its heavy-gauge ABS trays outperform standard High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) in impact resistance, stiffness, and thermal shock, making them far less likely to bow, crack, or leak under the demands of a commercial grow environment.

Reinforced roller connectors ensure smooth sliding without deforming over time—a common issue with other systems whose rollers wear down and stop functioning. With recessed drainage channels and vertical support beams, the 20 ft 6 in bench provides over 700 sq in of tray-to-frame contact, unmatched by any other slide bench on the market. Botanicare’s Slide Bench features trellis supports built directly into the frame, keeping aisles clear while allowing plants to be trained right on the bench. Unlike other systems that can interfere with trellising, this design simplifies plant training and comes with standard trellis brackets included.

The integrated support protects tray seams, accommodates 3/4″ PVC or conduit, and lets you slide the bench safely without risking damage to plants or trellis structures.

The Botanicare TriLock Trellising Support is an optional upgrade for Slide Bench systems, designed to provide a stronger, more secure connection to your bench. Engineered for durability, the TriLock support is three times stronger than the standard brackets and accommodates three trellising types: 3/4″ EMT, 3/4″ PVC, and 1″ EMT.

What sets the Botanicare Slide Bench System apart is its modular design and easy-to-follow setup. Unlike competitors that ship parts with minimal instructions, Botanicare provides a detailed manual, plus helpful videos if you need guidance. While first-time installers may find it challenging alone, an experienced crew can assemble the system in just a few hours. With hundreds of configuration possibilities, your manual illustrates only one layout, so critical thinking may be required for custom setups.

Step 1 – Assemble Slide Bench Arches
Attach the frame legs to the frame connector to form each arch. Refer to the manual for slope adjustments to ensure proper drainage. Number or mark each arch for its correct placement.

Step 2 – Assemble the Slide Bench Frame
Position the frame in its final location, starting with the drain end. Attach long frame tubes to each arch, securing with screws. Repeat until all arches are connected, finishing with short frame tubes on the last arch.

Step 3 – Anchor the Bench to the Floor
Use a chalk line from the first to the last arch alignment mark. Drill into the floor through each footplate to anchor the frame securely (anchors not included).

Step 4 – Adjust Bench Slope
Fine-tune each arch to achieve the desired slope for proper drainage. Confirm all arches are level before tightening the frame connectors.

Step 5 – Assemble Roller Tubes
Attach roller connectors and ends to the long tubes at the drain side. Connect the tubes across arches, adding short tubes where needed. This creates the sliding mechanism of your bench.

Step 6 – Assemble the Slide Bench Table
Work in 5’ increments, attaching table brackets to the tubes as shown in the manual. Start with outer tubes, finishing with the center. Repeat across all arches to complete the table.

Step 7 – Install Anti-Tip Kit
Assemble bump stops, then attach the anti-tip frame inside the table extrusions. Secure the guide bracket with self-drilling screws. The number of kits depends on your bench size.

Step 8 – Attach Roller Spacers
Install spacers at each end of the roller tubes to maintain consistent sliding distance. This provides 8.5” of travel per side.

Step 9 – Attach Pull Handles
Secure pull handles using the outermost screws first, leaving middle screws loose until trellis brackets are installed. Always use handles to move the bench—never push trays.

Step 10 – Install Grow Trays
Position trays carefully, aligning male and female sections. Clean contact points, then apply included Bond 3 sealant to prevent leaks. Allow 24 hours for curing before moving trays.

Step 11 – Set Up Drain System
Use a 1” step drill bit to install 3/4” or 1” bulk fittings at the drain tray. Place drain screens over fittings. Use one or two drains depending on desired drainage speed.

Step 12 – Attach Trellis Brackets
After sealant cures, insert trellis brackets into handle slots facing inward. Secure to trays using divots, tighten middle screws, and install thumbscrews. Trellis brackets are ready for your plant training system.
