The GrowPros Solutions VIPER Under Canopy Light is a high-performance dual-channel interlighting system designed to illuminate the lower canopy of plants where top lighting often cannot reach. By delivering targeted light beneath dense foliage, the VIPER helps improve development of shaded leaves and lower buds, leading to more uniform plant growth, higher yields, and better overall crop quality.
This advanced under-canopy lighting fixture features two independently controllable spectrum channels optimized for flowering performance. Channel 1 delivers approximately 80% red spectrum combined with white light, while Channel 2 provides 730 nm far-red light, a combination designed to enhance photosynthesis and improve flowering response. When deep red and far-red light work together, they can trigger the Emerson Effect, which increases photosynthetic efficiency and encourages faster flowering and stronger bud development.
The VIPER series is available in two sizes to suit different cultivation setups. The 4-foot model operates at around 150W, delivering strong photon output for single bench rows and compact grow spaces. For larger installations, the 8-foot model provides approximately 300W, offering wider canopy coverage and deeper light penetration across larger grow beds.
Designed for commercial cultivation environments, the fixture features a slim aluminum housing with built-in driver and passive cooling, ensuring quiet operation and minimal heat generation. Its IP65 waterproof rating protects the unit from moisture, irrigation spray, and dust, making it suitable for demanding indoor grow rooms and greenhouse environments.
The VIPER under-canopy light also supports 0–10V dimming and RJ12 controller compatibility, allowing growers to integrate it with lighting control systems for automated scheduling and spectrum adjustments. With power and data daisy-chain capability, multiple fixtures can be connected efficiently for large-scale cultivation setups.
