The Spider Farmer® GGS AC5 Power Strip is an intelligent climate-control hub designed to automate and optimize your complete grow tent environment. With five independently controllable outlets, integrated environmental sensors, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, and comprehensive app integration, it brings advanced automation, monitoring, and historical data tracking to home and hobby growers.
Smart 5-Outlet Power and Device Control
Five independent outlets allow you to power and manage up to five devices through one centralized system.
The AC5 works with:
Spider Farmer SF Series grow lights, excluding SF300 and SF600
Spider Farmer G Series LED grow lights
Spider Farmer SE Series LED grow lights
Supplemental grow lights
Heaters and cooling devices
Humidifiers and dehumidifiers
Inline fans and clip fans
Water pumps and other plug-in grow equipment
Through the Spider Farmer App, you can:
Turn individual outlets on or off remotely

Standard plug-in devices can be controlled through outlet-based on/off automation. Compatible Spider Farmer equipment connected through RJ12 cables receives more advanced operating controls.
Advanced Grow Light Management
Using the included GGS Light Adapter, compatible Spider Farmer LED grow lights can be controlled directly through the app.
Lighting functions include:
Brightness adjustment from 10% to 100%
Customized light schedules
Automatic on-and-off cycles
Gradual sunrise simulation
Gradual sunset simulation
High-temperature dimming protection
High-temperature automatic shutoff
A 0% brightness setting switches the light off. Brightness selections between 1% and 9% operate at the minimum supported 10% output.
Intelligent RJ12 Fan Control
Spider Farmer clip fans and inline fans equipped with RJ12 ports receive expanded app-based controls.
Available functions may include:
Precise operating schedules
Adjustable fan speed
Standby speed settings
Oscillation angle control
Natural wind simulation
Temperature-based automation
Humidity-based automation
Fans without RJ12 ports can still be connected to the AC5 outlets and managed with timed or condition-based on-and-off settings. However, detailed speed and oscillation controls require compatible RJ12 connectivity.
Complete Environmental Automation
The GGS AC5 works with heaters, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, ventilation equipment, supplemental lights, and other compatible devices to automate important environmental conditions.
It supports four primary operating modes:
Timer Mode: Schedules equipment to turn on or off at selected times.
Temperature Mode: Activates heating, cooling, or ventilation equipment according to temperature thresholds.
Humidity Mode: Controls humidifiers, dehumidifiers, or fans according to humidity targets.
CO₂ Mode: Automates compatible equipment when the optional SensorPro is connected.
Custom day and night targets allow the system to maintain different environmental conditions throughout the light and dark periods. Adjustable deadband settings help prevent equipment from repeatedly cycling when readings fluctuate slightly around the selected target.
Included 3-in-1 Soil Sensor
The included soil sensor monitors important root-zone conditions in real time.
It measures:
Soil moisture or volumetric water content
Soil temperature
Soil electrical conductivity
These readings help growers evaluate irrigation timing, nutrient concentration, and root-zone temperature. Monitoring this information can help reduce overwatering, underwatering, excessive nutrient buildup, and unnecessary plant stress.
For more accurate readings, insert the sensor probes horizontally into the growing medium and ensure the surrounding soil maintains proper contact with the probes.
Included Temperature, Humidity, and Light Sensor
The GGS temperature, humidity, and light sensor monitors the general conditions inside the grow tent.
It tracks:
Air temperature
Relative humidity
VPD
Day and night cycles
The light detector is positioned on the side of the sensor and should remain unobstructed. It identifies whether the grow light is operating, allowing the system to apply separate daytime and nighttime environmental settings.
Spider Farmer App Monitoring and Control
Bluetooth allows convenient nearby pairing and setup, while WiFi connectivity provides remote monitoring and control through the Spider Farmer App.

When daytime and nighttime start times are set identically, the system can operate continuously using its daytime configuration.

When a compatible Spider Farmer grow light is connected, the system can automatically respond to excessive environmental temperatures.
Available protection options include:
Go Dark: Automatically lowers the connected light to 11% brightness when the selected temperature threshold is exceeded.
Turn Off: Completely switches the connected light off when conditions reach a higher safety threshold.
These protective settings help reduce heat buildup and plant stress while providing an additional layer of safety for unattended growing environments.
Optional 5-in-1 SensorPro Upgrade
Growers who need more detailed environmental information can expand the system with the optional GGS 5-in-1 SensorPro Kit.
The upgraded sensor monitors:

CO₂ concentration
PPFD information helps growers evaluate grow-light placement and intensity, while CO₂ monitoring supports more informed environmental management. Compatible lights can also automatically adjust brightness toward a selected PPFD target.

Standard equipment connects directly to the five AC outlets, while sensors and compatible Spider Farmer devices connect through RJ12 cables.
