The versatile WD-1 water detector offers two primary functions. Firstly, it serves as a reliable leak detector by monitoring floors or spaces for the presence of water. Secondly, it can be utilized as a water verification monitor. In this mode, the WD-1 is strategically placed in areas where water runoff accumulates or where water is introduced into the growing medium. Each output, such as a solenoid or pump, on the Aqua-x system can be assigned to a specific WD-1. Whenever the Aqua-x activates the assigned solenoid or pump, the WD-1 has an adjustable delay time to detect the presence of water. If water is not detected within the specified time (indicating pump or solenoid failure), the Aqua-x system sends out an alert to notify the user of the "irrigation failure." A single Aqua-X unit can accommodate up to 25 WD-1 water detectors, providing extensive coverage and monitoring capabilities.

For the Aqua-X Pro, the innovative Auto-Fill function can be activated by utilizing two water detectors, namely WD-1/2. One WD-1 water detector is positioned at the bottom of the nutrient tank, while the other is placed at the top. When the liquid level falls below the bottom sensor, the Aqua-X Pro automatically triggers a solenoid or pump, causing the tank to refill until the liquid reaches the top sensor. This intelligent system ensures efficient and automated water replenishment in the nutrient tank, streamlining the cultivation process.
